Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Stream2Player app and its activation service handle. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Stream2Player. Questions can be sent to [email protected].

1. What the app is

Stream2Player is a media player. It does not include or provide any channels, movies or series. It plays a playlist that your own service provider has linked to your activation code. We do not operate, control or see the streams you watch.

2. Information handled by our activation service

When you enter an activation code, the app contacts the activation server and sends:

The server answers with the playlist address that your provider has set up for that code. For each code the server keeps that playlist address, the code's expiry and on/off status, the device identifier last used, the time of the last request and a count of requests. We use this only to run the activation service and let your provider manage their codes.

Like any web server, ours may record technical data such as your IP address and the request time in standard access logs for security and troubleshooting.

3. Information stored only on your TV

The app stores the following on your TV and does not upload it to us: your activation code and playlist address, favorites, locked channels and categories, your 4-digit PIN, app settings, and cached channel, movie and series lists. Choose Settings → Reset application to erase all of it. Uninstalling the app also removes it.

4. Streams, images and guide data from your provider

To show channels, posters and programme information and to play video, your TV connects directly to servers named in your playlist (typically your provider's servers and the sites that host their logos and guide data). Those parties can see your IP address and what you request, and they handle that information under their own policies. We do not receive it.

5. What we do not collect

6. Sharing

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone except the infrastructure providers (such as web hosting) that run our service on our behalf, or when the law requires it. Your provider manages the playlist behind your code and can see the code's status and the device identifier last used, because that is how their activation works.

7. Security

The app talks to the activation service over HTTPS. Data stored on your TV stays on the TV. Your PIN protects locked items inside the app; it is a convenience feature and not a substitute for supervising children.

8. Children

Stream2Player is not directed at children and does not collect information from them knowingly. Parents can use the PIN lock to restrict channels and categories.

9. Your choices

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and significant changes will be reflected on this page.
